Day out @ Sentosa
1. Spent the morning and early afternoon at Universal Studios Singapore
2. Spent afternoon and early evening at 4D Adventureland and Megazip Adventure Park Singapore
3. Relaxed evening @ Sentosa At Siloso Beach having a romantic dinner.
Day 2: food
Breakfast @ Kopitam at Vivocity
Vegetarian(not vegan) rice and curry puff for my wife. Yong tau fu for me. Brief explanation on what I ate. You pick 6 items of your choice from the stall and get soup with noodles of choice. In my case I picked some veggies, fish cake, egg plant and my noodle was bee hoon.
($10+) for both persons.
Lunch @ MacDonalds sentosa.
Was too tired after getting lost cycling so we settled for anything nearby.
($13+) for 1 fillet and 1 veggie crunch meal.
Dinner @ mambo beach club. After zipping down from megazip, the perfect (nearby) place and great end to a tiring day!
($70+) for 1 mushroom risotto, 1 fish and chips, 1 pint stella and 1 mojito. Pricy yes but last pricy for us until punggol!
Oh yeah, by now you should have figured out my wife is vegetarian so if you need those options they'll all be covered here :)
Tips for day 1 and 2:
Day 1: There's water cooler @ the esplanade roof terrace toilet in case you need to fill up :)
Day 2: I dropped my phone in Universal Studio and there's 2 things you can do:
1. Make a report at the customer service and hope for the best!
2. If you're doing android phone, use the device manager to check your phone location, go near it and then make your phone ring. I heard there's a similar thing you can do for iPhone.
It dropped during the 4d shrek ride and was lodged at some where place. Saw at least 2 other people with the same problem. So be careful with your belongings!
Secondly, don't cycle to sentosa if you're hoping for casual, flat, well-connected PCN like east coast. The cycling sucks. There's unnecessary turns from the entrance (to make you go to the booth for payment) and then only a good connected road path to Sentosa cove area. The path to the palawan beach was a real b*tch with crazy slopes and connections with pavements that were not designed for cycling.

Day 2 cycling part 1: From keppel into Sentosa. Don't follow this route. Go from habourfront centre to the back of vivocity and merge onto the boardwalk. This route is by the road and blocked by many lampposts and unsuitable for cycling.

This route is if you follow the signs into sentosa. There's a toll booth of $2 per bicycle. There's only smooth connection towards sentosa cove. There's lots of disconnected paths to the beaches if you want go up and down hills on weird pavements. My take: don't cycle into Sentosa if you're looking for casual cycling.
